Depth Psychology In Therapy
Grounded in the principles of Depth Psychology, my work centers on bringing the unconscious parts of the psyche into awareness. Many of us unknowingly expend energy keeping our wounded parts hidden—because acknowledging them can be painful. Yet it’s often through facing that pain that meaningful healing begins.
With compassion as our guide, we explore experiences of grief, loneliness, and emotional pain. This process not only brings you closer to a sense of wholeness, but also illuminates unmet needs and unresolved wounds rooted in trauma or past relationships. From here, we begin to uncover what’s needed to move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding.
Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it Fate"
- Carl Jung
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach to healing that utilizes and honors the deep connection between the mind and body. Somatic therapy helps you turn toward the physical sensations of your emotions. In time, this leads you to recognize nervous system patterns that keep you stuck in states of stress, anxiety and trauma. From birth, we learn ways of managing, suppressing and changing our Selves in order to receive love. These strategies get stored in our body and become part of how we interact with the world and others.

Somatic therapy can help if you:
-
Struggle with chronic stress or anxiety
-
Feel disconnected from yourself and emotions
-
Are healing from relational or acute trauma
-
Have tried other types of therapy and need a deeper, more embodied approach
Internal Family Systems Therapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS) works on the concept that the Self contains many "parts" which can overwhelm us during times of difficulty. These parts tend to work against each other and our Selves. IFS helps you get to know these parts and engage with them in a way that encourages compassion and healing. IFS can transform pain into self-acceptance, and inner conflict into harmony. IFS is an evidence based approach that is effective for treating a wide range of issues and dilemmas.
